Throwing:
Crafting with clay is an intricate dance on the pottery wheel. Beginning with a lump at the wheel's center, an opening is meticulously formed, gradually expanding into a shaped cylinder. Skilled hands then mold the sides, mouth, and base, and once dried to a leather-hard stage, the real artistry begins. Trimming, adding handles, spouts, and intricate details require dedication and practice—a fusion of skill and passion.
Glaze Firing:
After glazes are delicately applied to the bisqueware, the kiln becomes the alchemist's chamber. Carefully loaded to avoid any contact, the ware undergoes a slow ascent to maturity. Once cooled, the kiln reveals the transformed pieces, a testament to the delicate dance between clay, glaze, and fire.
