About Stoneware:
Our stoneware is nonporous, nontranslucent pottery fired at high temperatures, making it highly scratch-resistant and safe for dishwashers, even with intensive programs.
Quality Production:
We fire our stoneware pottery twice for a superior glaze finish. Bisque firing at 900°C and glost firing at 1200°C ensure excellent quality. These bowls have less than 1 percent water absorption, making them exceptionally safe for dishwasher use.
Support Sustainable Production:
Our pottery is crafted with local clay, and we use energy-saving kilns, making us a sustainable, small business. With over 20 years of experience, Danko is a skilled craftsman committed to producing unique and high-quality pottery.
==================
Ceramics, among the earliest industrial endeavors of humankind, possesses inherent artistic qualities that have rendered it an art form from its very inception.
The Ceramics Journey:
(Discover more about our ceramics-making process in our shop)
Step 1: Drying
The transformation begins with the unveiling of the clay, initiating the crucial drying phase. As the clay gradually loses moisture, it undergoes a subtle transformation, growing stiffer and experiencing shrinkage. Following the initial shaping, our pieces are carefully swathed in soft, plastic sheets—meticulously sealed, without perforations. This artful encapsulation slows down the drying process, allowing the pieces to remain malleable for several days.
Control is paramount during this stage; rapid drying risks potential cracks, which would prematurely halt the artistic process. Our artisans ensure every piece is allowed to evolve with precision, preserving its integrity and artistic potential.

I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

I generally keep your data for up to four years.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE THE EU
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction.
