!!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! This teapot cannot be used over direct heat from a stovetop range.
Very few ceramic items are safe for stovetop heating. When heated, ceramic ware starts to expand (although not visible to the naked eye). When we heat them from the bottom, they will expand unevenly, because their upper part, which will be relatively cold, will not expand that much. This will cause the crystal structure of the ware to rupture and the pot to break.
Ceramic items are heat resistant only if we heat them slowly and evenly, for example, a casserole in an oven.
This teapot can be used for steaming tea by putting the tea leaves or teabags inside and adding hot water, or just by pouring our previously prepared tea in it in order to serve it to our guests or family. It can also be a beautiful decorative item for our kitchen and living room or even for our garden.

THROWING
Throwing clay is an artful process, utilizing a swiftly spinning pottery wheel and adept tools to sculpt raw clay into exquisite ceramic works.
Beginning with centering a lump of clay precisely on the wheel head, the potter skillfully carves an opening at its heart. Gradually widening this aperture, the potter deftly pulls the clay upwards, crafting a cylindrical form. Leaving ample clay for the base, the pot's sides and mouth are meticulously shaped before being carefully removed from the wheel.
Once dried to a leather-hard stage, the potter refines the piece, trimming away excess clay, adding handles, spouts, or other embellishments, and refining its form through carving, cutting, or reshaping. While the experienced potter may make this process seem effortless, it requires years of dedicated practice to master the art of throwing and to produce balanced, visually stunning pieces.
